Andrei's career in gymnastics began at age 7 in Russia. During his 14
year competitive career, Andrei competed and won in meets throughout
Europe. As a Prize Winner at National and International Championships,
Andrey was very successful. When he was attending University, Andrei
began coaching. During the 15 years that Andrei coached in Russia, he
worked in the Gymnastics School of Olympic Reserves and was part of a
team of coaches that taught National Champions. Since coming to
America in 1996, Andrei has been the head coach for the Boys Program
and coaches the girls' optionals and higher compulsories. Coach Andrei
has coached his students to success at the local, state, and regional
level, including competitors in the last four USA Gymnastics Junior
Olympic National Championships. Andrei lends his expertise as a clinician
at both boys and girls training clinics. He is also a Judge for the men's
program.
